Twixt Time is a tool designed to assist in monitoring the long-term accuracy of wristwatches and clocks through the collection and analysis of precisely timed snapshots of their dials.

When utilizing Twixt Time, users can capture images of the dials on analog clocks or watches to record the specific time displayed. The platform also timestamps each snapshot accurately by interfacing with highly precise NTP timeservers on the Internet.

Multiple snapshots of the same timepiece can be captured daily, allowing Twixt to calculate and present an analysis of the timepiece's timekeeping accuracy based on this information.

This innovative tool monitors various metrics for each timepiece, including the most recent rate, overall average rate, and cumulative gain or loss.

Compatibility with GMT Watches:
Yes, Twixt Time is compatible with GMT watches and can measure their accuracy effectively without tracking the 24-hour hand. The platform requires monitoring of the hour, minute, and second hands. Users can select either the "central seconds" layout for GMT watches with a central seconds hand or the "subdial seconds" layout for those with an offset or subdial seconds hand. Additionally, Twixt Time automatically adjusts to timezone changes based on the device's settings.

Compatibility with Chronograph Watches:
Absolutely, Twixt Time also works seamlessly with chronograph watches without the need to measure their additional functions separately. The tool evaluates chronographs and other complication watches just like regular timepieces. Users can choose the "subdial seconds" layout for chronographs where the seconds hand can be stopped and reset using the chronograph function or opt for the "central seconds" layout in cases where the central seconds hand continues moving when using the chronograph feature.

Compatibility with Watches Featuring an Offset Seconds Hand:
Indeed, Twixt Time supports watches with a seconds hand that is not concentric with the hour and minute hands by using the "subdial seconds" layout.

Compatibility with Quartz Watches and Battery-Powered Devices:
Yes, Twixt Time is compatible with battery-powered watches and clocks featuring hour, minute, and/or second hands. It does not function with devices that display time exclusively in digital format.
